The head hitting the ball is loud and effective, and almost every shot will be straight. It's not the longest driver out there, and the player must also have the right flex shaft for their swing. Despite the big clubhead, it's not a very long driver. It can be hit plus yards, but it's not the longest driver on the market.
This club can be a match for many different players who need a certain loft and shaft, but even with the numerous options, it still feels a bit limited because the club won't get as much distance as others in the same price range. This Nike's an anyone-can-use-it club. Great noise, feels really good even on off centre strikes and you also get a high straight launch, but takes some getting used to.

An immediately noticeable difference between the and the driver we tested last year is that the shaft of the is a bit longer. This doesn't appear to have resulted in less accuracy, but it certainly seems to have lent a bit more distance to the driver.
The first thing you notice when you actually hit a ball is that the aforementioned noise at impact is considerably dampened. Despite the tremendous relief this improvement engendered in me and my ear drums, it should be pointed out that the noise is not gone all together.
A pair of septuagenarians who allowed me to play though recently in Scotland commented that they could certainly tell which hole I was on. But, as I say, the sound is considerably dampened, at least to a level commensurate with that of other big, square-headed drivers on the market.
As with the original model, the sports a relatively shallow face, compared to other cc drivers. This allows players to tee lower in windy conditions.
